Holloway has written a very intense thriller that keeps you on the edge of your chair. Will she be able to identify him? Can her new love, Tony, save her? What Shevaughn isn't aware of is the killer has become obsessed with her and is doing his best to lure her into his trap. Shevaughn can feel the stares as they go to clubs and restaurants. ![]() He's also white and the action takes place in the 1980s before interracial couples became common. He's the reporter who exposed a police scandal the year before. Shevaughn, a black detective, has a new love interest who no one in the police department thinks much of. After that, he got wise and used condoms, rubber gloves and whatever else he needed to prevent the police from tracing him. He has something he does to them that is even more horrifying. There is a serial killer on the loose who has an obsession with women - not only live ones, but he also assaults their dead bodies. Be careful who you date!
